Throughout 2010, I would trawl through Newtown’s second-hand stores in search of records and amassed quite a nice collection, including Abbey Road, some awesome Jazz records (my favourite being Count Basie and the Kansas City Seven) and Rick Astley’s Whenever You Need Somebody.
But now, the more I think about the albums I love now, the more I want to get them on vinyl. I’ve already got The Social Network score on record and it sounds fantastic, but now I will have to save up and go hunt down these:
Hey, somehow I came across your page (I actually can't remember where I just came from...) and I saw that you're an Arts student at USYD. What's your major/other subjects you do? And do you enjoy them? Because I just got accepted into a similar course and I have to choose arts subjects really soon and everything and I just can't decide on what to do... :S
I’m majoring in Film and English and the other subjects I did were Music and Intl Comparative Literary Studies.
They were all pretty good, but it all depends what you;re interested in really.
I should have mentioned this yesterday when I actually finished it but I have finally finished the first draft stageplay for our college revue.
I spent a few hours working on it yesterday and got it all done, in a deep state of focus when rewriting pop songs form the 80s and cheesy Broadway hits.
I’m very happy with it though but extremely wary of the fact that I’m going to have to direct 50-60 freshers when it’s put on stage and then as soon as that month long rehearsals then performances time finishes, I have to start rehearsals for another play I’ve written.
I have a feeling that around April I will lose my mind to stress. And Tumblr will be my witness.
