That last Dujardin post was kinda harsh. I’ll admit that I did enjoy his performance but I do think he won, much like the film he’s in, solely because of the novelty of it all, rather than quality or depth.

I actually loved The Artist and hope it wins BP, but tbh I seriously agree.
I think my perception of The Artist was harmed by seeing it after it won everything everywhere because I didn;t think it lived up to any of the hype. I mean, I enjoyed it but I found it so empty and shallow.

I actually can’t tell the difference between the movie montage ads on StarPics and the actual Oscars content anymore. All I know is that there’s way more Helen Mirren in the Foxtel ads, which make it superior to the Oscars montages.
