If, by some travesty, The Artist manages to win Best Original Screenplay, I sincerely hope Michel Hazanavicius acknowledges The Artist’s original writers, Betty Comden and Adolph Green.
Before when I wrote that I wouldn’t be livid if The Artist won any awards, this is the exception.
If The Artist wins screenplay I’ll probably go homicidal, like “Sean Penn beating Mickey Rourke” levels of homicidal.
